Posted March 11, 2021 When you get 50 Body Strength you should be able to carry a rowboat over your head. Not realistic but a good idea

Posted March 12, 2021 (edited) Carrying a canoe over the head is quite realistic, yes. The rowing boat in Wurm seems to be inspired by a "færing" (faering), "åfjordsbåt", "oselver" or some other norse boat made of wood. Most probably is Wurm inspired by the færing since they came in different sizes - even up to knarr size (to be honest, the knarr in Wurm looks more like a big færing than a knarr, but thats another discussion) - and the small "logic" rowing boat in the færing family only has three seats as the Wurm rowing boat seven seats. If we were to follow that logic (which they often do in boat building) we have to move up to a "fembøring" (femboering - about 17 meters long) to get to the same size of the original as in Wurm. Good luck carrying that over your head. TLDR; i think the Wurm rowing boat is based on the færing boat, and that would be to heavy to carry over your head. Our Wurmians may be strong enough to carry the smallest of these - but 50 strength is anyway too little. Færing (2 seats): Fembøring (6-7 seats): . Posted March 12, 2021 There's difference between canoe and rowingboat Quote How much does a canoe weigh?50 pounds How much does a canoe weigh? A typical polyethylene (plastic) solo canoe weighs 50 pounds (23 kg). Quote How much do rowing boats weigh? An eight, which carries more than three-quarters of a ton (1,750 pounds), may weigh as little as 200 pounds. (~91kg)

Posted March 12, 2021 Would be nice being able to pick up and/or load rowing boats specifically. Not just for carrying it across a bit of land, but would be nice to be able to put a rowing boat inside a corbita, cog, knarr or caravel.
