Rare Mizziry the Rock

Has anyone seen a character make themselves Rare?   My Wife recently did when she cast Oakshell on herself during a dragon kill. She didn't even realize it herself. She had multiple people asking her how she did that.

Yes, I remember taking my priests along to do a mission once, and because they tend to be fragile I had one of them cast oakshell on all of them, a couple turned rare and one turned supreme. I had no clue until I asked around later that it was the cast, thought there was a playful GM about maybe

a rare champagne makes you glow but does it changes your name with "rare" too ? I don't know

Oakshell does this sometimes (unknown what causes it to work or not)

When a high cast is achieved, the buff is called Thornshell and does supreme instead
