Can't register new character with Wurm servers [FIXED]

getting error when clicking the confirmation link in the email after starting registration.  Happening to me and a friend both.

Yep; same issue. 
 

I tried 3 different characters, 3 different emails. 
 

1 email I know for sure has never been used with Wurm before. (It was suggested that maybe I had too many accounts on the email).

Hi, I'm new to this game and I'm having the same problem. So it is not due to the e-mail.

In particular,  the "Confirm Email" button links to something like (of course I modified it a bit here to not share my personal information) :

When I click on it I get the typical error message ("The requested URL /phasetwo was not found on this server.") that is a sign that their server is down.

Could you please confirm that your problem is exactly like mine?

Is there any game administrator in this forum that could react?

We're working on it and a fix will be available soon. The issue is with the email sending a "https" address, when the registration site currently has an issue with SSL.

As a workaround, if you change the "https" in the address you get in the email to "http", you should be able to register the character fine.

The issue is now fixed and the links from before, as well as new registrations, should work fine.
