Invisible Unselectable Large Cart

Hi Everyone,

 

Having an issue with my large cart vanashing until i relog. Ingame ticket #220634 (nice guy that helped). Cart disappears after a few squares movement and becomes unselectable. After moving a while and trying different angles i can see it but not select or open it. Using F to disembark works. Animals stay visible. Relogging works to get it back for a few more tiles of movement when it happens again. 

I tried building a new large cart off deed, but it happend again and may be even worse. Can anyone help?

Next day - built another large cart but this time on deed. Same issue but noticed dragging it did not seem to create the problem. Also, the deed is not mine - i joined someone else. Don't know if this information helpes. I do hope it can be fixed because without transport it hard to do stuff in Wurm.

Just in case some one was wondering, this is a bug in the rights management. It envolves having animals you own off deed and then bringing them somewhere and deeding over them. For some reason the cart and animal rights seem to be at odds with eachother causing the issue.

 

If the programmers are reading this, an overhaul of the rights system to an inclusive additive system should solve your problems. Yes this is a major undertaking, but doing this will solve soooo many future issues and prevent future bugs😎

 

Workaround that seems to always work is:

  • Log Off / Log On (just like with wax;)
  • Unhitch the animals
  • Drag the Large Cart off deed
  • Go back and lead the animals off deed
  • Hitch the animals off deed to the cart

All should be fine now. I will create an off deed car park for myself to keep this most irritating bug from happening again.
