3670 Crafting Recipe Error - 'Dioptra, brass'

In the crafting recipe window, dioptra is listed as brass when in fact it completes as bronze and requires bronze lumps to imp. I discovered this today after needlessly prepping a bunch of brass lumps for imping.

Yeah this is a known error, and has caused a huge bun fight both in game and in the fora.
