Posted December 30, 2020 (edited) 1. Allow to hitch one animal (including a bison or a horse) - already suggested. 2. Decrease the slowdown, dragging empty cart or with light load shouldn't give any slow down at all. 3. If you drag small or large cart, and you dig/level, you dig to the cart, it is done on dredging so c'mon it cannot be hard to implement. 4. Let us load 2 rafts or 2 small crates or 1 large crate if runed. 5. Give it speed boost when dragged on fields, green tiles (with flowers, bushes or trees) and in the mines. Give us some cookie for all these nerfs. You know if you use stick an occasional carrot is necessary. I was raised in gardens, orchards, forests and fields I know very well how useful is this: Edited December 30, 2020 by Platyna
Posted December 30, 2020 GOATS! Also, generally, yes. Terraforming to/from a vehicle or container would be a huge benefit with negligible downside. I personally believe that the masses of abandoned carts is caused by the combination of putting the making of one in the journal while making the cart itself frustrating and annoyingly impractical. Posted December 31, 2020 would love to see it implemented. just don't agree with with hitching one animal it will be just a small version of large cart. and it would be easier to move with it in terraforming without need to commend it then disembark. Posted January 1, 2021 (edited) Hitch cow, sheep, pig or dog Lead with a rope the animal pulling the cart Just like other leadings, it now travels just as fast as you are traveling Still less useful than a large cart, but now it is actually handy for younger players. It might look silly to be driving a cart while leading 4 cows each with a small cart. Or maybe not. Small carts really don't hold all that much so not much of a balance issue and more of a "that looks silly" issue. If so, simply limit to one led cart. Dog is the only creature that can pull the cart through water. ALTHOUGH, COWS CAN SWIM (just not in Wurm) Could be useful for a veteran to give a newcomer and their small cart a "lift" to a better area for settling.
