Adult Horse Developed Negative Trait

My adult horse developed a negative trait she did not have before. She went from no traits to now reporting feeble and unhealthy. Her foal is also feeble and unhealthy. Never seen this happen before.

You haven't gained Animal Husbandry skill between the time you originally checked and now, have you? Is it possible you had just under 39 skill before? 

 

Otherwise, I've never heard of this happening.
