Gorilla and Yoyo

Recommended Posts

As we are in the crazy suggestions,. I have one too. Completely useless, but I find it funny (maybe it is just stupid or silly).

Mountain Gorillas are funny but, unfortunately, completely useless which is a shame as they are intelligent creatures maybe a step below trolls and gobs, but not so much. Apes are known to mimic behaviours of others, be they of their own species, or human.

So the idea is that you are practising yoyo skill in front of a gorilla. The creature will get attentive, the more, the better your skill is. Eventually, you will be able to give a yoyo to the ape which will start to practise with but it will take damage and break soon at low skill levels (of yours). But if you give the creature another yoyo of better effective ql, the ape will take that and drop his so you can maintain the items.

Beyond a certain skill level of yours, the ape's yoyo will take very low or no damage, and the gorilla will follow you, with a "tameness" level similar or equal normal taming levels according to your yoyo skill. You will then be able and need to feed it, as it will stop looking for food, distracted by the toy and expecting to be fed, or eat food you are dropping on the ground.

The gorilla will always follow you, also into unlocked houses and pens. You can easily pen it by leading it into an unlocked pen, lock it, and leave.

Advantage: More yoyos built and yoyo skill practised, fun with the animal. Cost: Creature behaviour and animations to be coded.
