Check for max 8 slope of tile for farming is wrong

I made a farm where some tiles flat on north side, 4 slope on south and west sides and 8 on east side. Maximum 8 slope from corner to corner but check still fails. I assume it a bug.

both 4 on each border and flat top and bottom border and 8 sides works, illogical that it should not work as combination.

I was always told that it was 8 diagonal slope was the max for farming, not 8 on an individual border. In your case, they would have been 12 diagonal slope during the first test, and 8 during the second and third, lining up with what I had heard.

Yeah, any two connecting sides added up must be 8 or less, so if you have an 8 slope side, it's two connecting sides must be 0

Yes checking from any corner the max slopes added up must not exceed 8 - in your case SE corner fails with 4 south and 8 east. TBH that should be increased - would result in less of those ugly flatraised fields.

Slope is opposite, there is no more than 8 dirt height difference between any corner.
