Bench sitting positions are reversed/backwards.

If you choose to sit on the left, your character is shown to be sitting on the right.

 

After choosing sit on left:

Rotating the bench so the sides you sit on are correct, results in the character facing the wrong direction (indicated by their legs/knees).
