3361 Dig to pile intermittently not working

With the "dig to pile" option enabled in my profile, I sometimes end up with the dirt in my inventory instead of on the ground. Here is an example log where you can see it sometimes does not automatically drop the dirt:

 

[10:28:43] You dig a hole.
[10:28:43] You drop a dirt.    <--- Dirt dropped OK
[10:28:43] You start to dig.
[10:28:57] You dig a hole.
[10:28:57] You drop a dirt.    <--- Dirt dropped OK
[10:29:02] You start to dig.
[10:29:02] After you finish digging you will start digging again.
[10:29:03] After you finish digging you will start digging again.

[10:29:11] You dig a hole.    <--- Dirt not dropped

This started happening to me yesterday as well. It wasn't happening before then.

I noticed this as well..

This seems to be the same issue as the one already on the list.  When you dig with the same tile selected with the dig to pile always on option enabled it goes to a pile. When you select the adjacent tile, it goes into your inventory.  This is with the option enabled.

Not jokingly, turn it off and on again, fixed it instantly for me.
