How to clear a Settings Profile

Due to the woes with the new UI on my notebook I created another settings profile "glsl-off" to see whether I could start the new UI with GLSL disabled in compatibility settings (did not work). I now want to get rid of the useless settings profile, or rename it. Attempts to do so by deleting or renaming the profile in /home/USERNAME/wurm/configs directory did not work. And there is no action to do so on the logon screen.

After you delete the profile folder in the configs direcotry, head to wurm/players/yourtoonname/ and edit the config.txt, either blank or put actual profile name you use

I think it is possible if you rename \Wurm\configs\  to  \Wurm\configsXXX\  that it will recreate the entire CONFIG folder with default options, you can probably copy over any files from the configsXXX that you want to keep.

 

Make sure the game and launcher are closed when you do this.
