Error opening connection to patch server - STILL!!

Anyone know when this issue will be resolved. I haven't been able to log in for hours. IF you are going to tell me to add something to updates, I don't know how to. Please help, one sad settler here.

it's probably your ISP  Where are you located and who is your internet provider?

 

Sometimes an easy FAST SIMPLE solution is to change from your ISP's DNS server (which may be slow to update) to this free GOOGLE public DNS server, which is not too complicated and pretty much problem free.

 

 

 

If that link looks complicated, here is a YouTube walkthrough, the Google Public DNS is probably the most generic mainstream,  not overly complex, and not something you can accidentally mess up too bad:
