Finally fix the broken ceiling mining

Recommended Posts

Especially now as we are looking forward for a new audience, the corrupt ceiling mining code should be reviewed, the tons of bugs fixed, and the whole concept overworked.

  • First: "You cannot reach the ceiling" must not happen as the result of patient mining tens of shards, finally spoiling the ceiling not seldom. Instead, there should be a check ahead if one corner is already too high: "You cannot flatten this ceiling, as one corner is too high already".
  • Second: The ton of ugly bugs must finally be fixed. It is not acceptable that an already fine ceiling tile is destroyed because the adjacent tile to be leveled is higher. Instead, there must be a warning "You cannot level this tile, because it is higher than the one you are standing on".
  • Third: show borders and slopes on ceiling tiles. Make it possible to flatten and level borders on ceilings.
  • Forth: Allow to level/flatten down a ceiling using concrete.

At least if we saw borders slopes, we'd see it.
