Posted May 30, 2020 (edited) Prior to this patch I could run four clients, three on super low and one on high settings, without issues. After this patch one client on "default" causes overheating shutdowns. Posted May 30, 2020 Getting new graphics card, as it appears to be the problem. Can close.
Posted May 30, 2020 I had the same issue. After patch just one client would bring my Nvidia 2070 90% GPU usage overheating my card. After playing with a few settings it's back to 30%-40% GPU usage and fans don't kick on loud anymore. I don't know which combo of options fixed it for me since I was logging off/on constantly just playing with different settings.
Posted May 30, 2020 Limit contribution culling, lower render distances to the lowest, cap fps hard. Then baby step it upwards until it doesn't work anymore.
