Posted April 16, 2020 Hi there y'all. I'm pretty new and thinking about settling down on Independence. Does anyone live up along the Eastern shore of Mist Lake? Can anyone tell me what it's like up around there? Maybe a good place to settle down and build a homestead once I leave Haven's Landing? If that's not a good place, can y'all recommend an area that might be a good spot instead? I'm looking for something a little remote, but not completely cut off or isolated. I like the idea of working on my skills and becoming self-sufficient at my own pace, but I'm not a total hermit either.
