[Fixed] Beverage making bug when dragging partial liquids

Recommended Posts

Three things every bug report should include:

# What happened

Dragged undistilled moonshine (or any other undistilled product) from a barrel in inventory to a still. When the still created moonshine, it was not added to the recipe book.

# What you expected to happen

The recipe for moonshine (or any other product from a still) should be added to the recipe book).

# Steps to reproduce

Grab a FULL barrel of undistilled (anything) and put it into your inventory. (You are last owner of the liquid)

Drag the undistilled (anything) into the boiler of the still. (You still should be last owner - but you are not (bug)

When the undistilled (anything) turns into it's final product, note that the recipe is not added to your cookbook.

Work around until it's fixed:

Drag the undistilled product into a measuring cup in your inventory.

Drag the full contents of the measuring cup into the boiler of the still.

Drag the rest of the undistilled product into the still.

(Since the full contents has you as last owner, the rest of the product dragged in will also be owned by you and give you proper recipe credit)

Note that this also happened with unfermented (anything) when dragging from a full cauldron to a barrel.  Instead, drag 1 kg from the cauldron into the barrel, then the rest of the cauldron into the barrel.

If container A holds less than container B will, dragging the full amount will work properly.  This only happens when container A is split into a smaller container.

This happens when making any food item that contains a liquid, and you move a partial amount out of your inventory into the container. For example, a cauldron with 44kg of space left, dragging 45kg of liquid from a small barrel will cause a "new" unowned liquid item inside the cauldron. Taking the cauldron into your inventory before or while splitting the liquid will avoid this.

If this happens while cooking solid food, such as an Herb Dumpling, the resulting QL will ALWAYS be 20, and receive no skill gain.

This is now happening whether the containers are in your inventory or not, so the previous help we used to give about being sure the containers are in your inventory is faulty at this time.  Even if both containers are in your inventory, moving partial liquid into the other will not be owned by you.
