AH is trash, you need week and a half to 2 weeks to get 1 new horse.. or lose one you had.. additionally it's RNG.. not that linked to your skill, and randomness here can play a joke on you.. and it does.. also.. you need a priest to 'cure' horses, it's a priest locked skill you CAN NOT be doing creature breeding without a priest. You'll eventually need one or you can just toss your rare skinned horses for meat/hides which are usually worthless to breed creatures for.

- requires priest to remove bad traits, non-priests CAN NOT fix bad traits

If you have months to play and pay sub and do not intend to make any use of your time - get on the AH skill grind, you'll have a fun with the rng and slaughtering your rare breeds because of bad traits

What i mean, is that if you have that much drive at grinding items to sell, and get that much silvers, you will probably have enough money to spend on in-game 5 silver premium, and that way you can really grind out rares and get bloods/drops by participating at uniques and actually have a nice income, while if you can't even get those 5 silvers, it probably wouldn't make much sense to invest everything in a 95ql casted tool, and wouldn't really be the best investment.

I wrote all of that in kind-of an extreme and procative way, but i would be positive with whatever raises the roof in any way and makes it less limitating than what it currently is, ofc this has to be tought-out better than the 2 minutes i took to write that list alone 

edit: i also kinda agree that selling 5speed horses is probably the least reliable source of income, it's as likely to make you earn something as begging for silvers is at this stage of the game : \

it's garbage right now..

95 skill, cant recall getting a 95 trait point animal(best I've seen was 90), even if promised so, but we all know it's not working as intended, we do not know what's intended.. so we wait..

 

you can reliably get 4 speed or 4 draft animals with ease right now.. but both 4th traits are useless, we have (to me.. disgustingly) fat horse models.. which should have draft bonus as passive.. but probably they do not.. we have stinky jackasses who have draft passive bonus.. same or better on mules.. who knows.. it's kind of ridiculous...

 

seen only 1 rare trait... misc immortality(cared for), rest of traits not so amazing; whole rng and being completely unrelated to skill or other traits is dumb rng gamble imho

 

old 5speeds are way WAY way WAY way... better than new 4speeds.. mainly because of the near impossible chance to get rare speed traits right now.. and rough chance to get also draft traits mixed.. so you do not have to ride around naked or carrying nothing with no movement penalty..

 

all that aside.. few new cool traits were introduced.. as long we get better ways to control things.. and actually make use of them.. gg, improvement..
