Posted January 23, 2020 So I'm in a mine with a long stretch of flat ceiling, then come to a section that is not flat. I stand under the flat section, then choose to level the adjacent non-flat section and then the section I am under becomes "un-flat". This should not happen with a level command that requires you to stand under an already level/flat section of the ceiling.
Posted January 23, 2020 Known old bug, often reported. The devs seem unwilling or unable to do anything about. Only known remedy at this moment: collapsing all uneven ceiling tiles and mining out again.
Posted January 24, 2020 Ah, that is a shame. Thanks for the response though.
Posted January 24, 2020 (edited) what's happening is the ceiling you are trying to level has a corner that's slightly higher than the ceiling u are under. if cave ceilings had tile borders we could avoid this happening. I've had to construct huts to reach the ceiling to fix this many times, which is no good if you're standing on a slope or have reached the surface crust. We need tile borders on ceilings or the ability to use concrete on them when this occurs. 2 previous bug reports;https://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/164612-leveling-cave-ceiling-raised-height-of-tile-overhead/ https://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/147678-levelling-cave-ceiling/ Edited February 11, 2020 by Steveleeb
