Ridiculous mission

Recommended Posts

Delet dis

Description: Fo commands you to sacrifice 525 decent brass ribbons.

To make such amount of ribbons it is required to use 15.75k of brass lumps in case of no fails and making everything above 30ql.

Yeah it's silly. Used to be we could sac any type of material for an item, regardless of metal.

E.g. : sac 100 horseshoes -> didn't matter if they were made out of gold, iron, steel, etc.

brass ribbons are a different item and always have been.

Look on the bright side, if someone beats you to the mission, you can make lots of birdcages.

Still an absurd mission. I always felt the math was really badly scaled for most missions when it comes to difficulty vs. reward. Would be nice if missions took weekly player population into account and scaled them by that.

It would make more sense than "complete x mission then next mission is more difficult because of that".

Yeah, maybe so. But 525 iron ribbons is ridiculously easy. That is the will of the gods or however else you want to justify it - how are we are mere mortals to judge their commands?

I think, that they made something like that for x people missions, like a year ago, but not sure.

If so, could just apply the same for the rest of the missions.

it only goes off amount of items needed, not complexity of whats needed, so you'll get dumb missions like sacc knives or brass ribbons or w/e

i still remember when we made like 40 BCU's for a mission on epic, it didn't take into fact that the 4 bsbs were an extra 120 parts each when scaling the amount needed to finish the mission

Considering how many items people have created and sacced for missions you'd think Valrei would be overflowing with crap and junk right now , wouldn't  it?

So why do the gods want more ? Shouldn't there be an item inflation on valrei by now? Where do they store it? Do they gamble over it? Do they hoard it?

Do they build castles with the stuff? Who knows. All I know is: the gods are petty .

There are 7 freedom servers.  I'm sure you can sail to a different one and find a more reasonable mission.

But why have missions that are never going to be completed in time?

Like killing 500 blue whales.

No one is going to work towards that goal.

Maybe they mean a different kind of whale...
