Give priests favor for actions performed

Hi! :)

 

Was wondering if you could motivate people to stop playing their priests as slugs hugging an altar waiting to be fed chopped veggies by giving favor for actions performed based on their flavour, and would have to be a button toggle something called: work for your god or something like that

 

- Libila: for every 2h weapon swing 1favor for every 1h weapon swing 0.5 favor and for every shield bash 0.5 favor but the mob cannot be sacrificed or burchered. 0.75 favor if the swing missed or 0.50?

 

If it would be too overpowered in pvp then make it mining actions 1favor/mining action but the ore would be 50% of the quality or not drop ore/shard at all or 0.75favor if the ore is not max quality potential (say you have 50ql max and with serving the god on you would get 25ql max but the thing rolled 16 ql and it would be 8ql and give 0.75favor or 0.50 dunno.

 

It will promote using high ql picks with woa and have ppl use priests to mine tunnels and remove veins and also have the priest get some mind and body stats so they could be used in pvp eventually.

 

-  Magranon should  be the 2nd BL priest to ahve 2xWL and 2xBL to balance and should use the mining thing too i described above.

 

- Fo should get 1 favor for cutting trees and chopping but get 50% of the potential log ql or  a chance to not get any at all.  Since you dont get max potential ql logs all the time this one could be not punishing enough dunno give 0.75 favor / action then to compensate.

 

Was thinking about having 1favor/farming action but not get any progress (adding 1more to the harvest thing) or make the crop regress 1 level (from almost ripe to halfway) but then it got iffy since they can do the crop cast or not be able to harvest ever so it seemed hard to balance. 

 

Was thinking maybe 1 favor/grooming action but then what penalty should they get for it? Dont punish the animals you weirdoes :)

 

- Vynora 0.75 favor/ digging action (could swap Fo's thing with Vyn's thing maybe) but since is hard to give a penalty for dirt just give 0.75favor per/max dirt quality/2 and 0.50 for non maxed ones?

 

The ideea is to provide a grindy way of getting favor so the players could have their main ZzzzZZZ for sleep bonus while they play the priest alt get some creating  ql ore or lumber get some dirt to make a road and some casting done and most importantly some body and mind stats on the priest that in due time could add up to be viable pvp toons or pve rift heavy hitters.

 

Also hi to the No Brigade:) please remember this is just a suggestion, the world is not going to end, and try to type atleast one sentence.

 

If you only type "No, -1" a baby seal is going to lose her barbie doll and make the plastic islands in the ocean even bigger!

 

L.E. The favor gains should be balanced somewhere around being able to perform actions and gain 100favor every 15m-20m.

 

If it still feels too strong and double dippy what if they make the skill gains  be 0.75% of a normal non "serve the god enabled" tick?

Stanlee often gets his favor by sacrificing animals while he’s out and about (luckily Vyn altars are quite common), so there is already at least some source of active favor gen.

That is true but we must not forget that there are 4  base gods in the game and that could lead to "altar wars" on the hunting grounds :)

 

Is also limited on the ammount of mobs available where veins trees and dirt are more readily available.

 

There are also people that would rather sit and mine or dig while watching a movie or a stream rather than having to run around looking for mobs and pulling them in their god's influence to sac.

 

Is good that is available but is also good to have diversity.
