Thank you for this years christmas gift I really love it! Makes life much easier for the rangers!

As a note - is it intended to take damage on use and be a non-impable item at the same time?

not intended to take damage, will be fixed!

Will take damage from use and can be improved (after update)

Also a craftable version will become available shortly, it will provide less sleep bonus though (similar to how the saddle sacks reduce weight by more than the saddle bags)

Finaly! I can travel without the worry to get back home. Hopefully it gives at least 90% of SB versus beds. Or does it give 100%?

Merry xmas to all :)

Will there be patch notes letting us know when the damage issue is fixed?

Are they not impable like Jaz said? I see a string of cloth icon at the right of mine.

gg gift.. any chance to have it's weight reduced? Googling around the weight of these things.. it's several times lower than the 5.5kg we are carrying around now, it's one of the heaviest tools in the game atm

So what’s the point of a bed if we can just sleep anywhere

So you don't have to carry around 5 kilos

Beds only work in completed houses.  These may work anywhere.

right, that is a point. For my rift adventures and cross server explorations, I almost always use a cart (originally to have up to 2 backup horses, fetching the cart later in worst case, and to grab meat, logs etc., also to store all unneeded stuff during fight), and it was never a problem to carry a bed. A shed is built in 5 minutes, even creating a bed not a thing. It is tedious and counter-immersive though. Dropping the tent and dropping the bedroll gives a real encampment feeling and athmosphere. I love it.

We have some really awesome modern materials to work with though. I had a look around for older bedrolls and while weight information is a bit sparse 5.5kg seems about in line with old time bedrolls intended to be carried on a horse or by a cart. Rolls for manual carrying could still be 3kg or so.

One interesting thing I saw is that bedrolls were often used as container for personal goods. Perhaps the in game bedrolls can be made into containers too?

Great addition although I immediately dropped mine in my bank due to

1. Always having sleep bonus I forget to use, and

2. It weighs 5.5 kilogram
