Posted November 30, 2019 I just recently updated my drivers to the version specified in the title, and am getting some really strange visual bugs and a guaranteed client crash. here are some images to show the visual bugs and I'll post my console.log as well. My system specs are: I7 3770k processor, vega 64 graphics card, 16GB of ram and wurm is running off an SSD. https://gyazo.com/38adcd20c46bc6982704e48a48413e1f https://gyazo.com/c6988d7369f859651b408b03d96be512 Picture after the crash: https://gyazo.com/5284127f06126a8755b838b9af6be40f The crash isn't just a wurm crash, when it occurs, my graphics card also crashes, causing my monitor to turn off from loss of signal and then spring back to life when the card recovers. I'm assuming that is what is actually causing wurm to crash, however this didn't occur before updating my driver to 19.11.3 Here is the Log file: https://pastebin.com/pTUMdNhG
Posted November 30, 2019 If you are with the beta driver - go with official, if you're with the official driver - try the beta one.. Have you thought about using display driver uninstaller to completely remove your vga driver... do that.. restart windows.. install newest driver after that... probably good idea to pre-download the driver while you have more than symbolic vga driver and resolution. Posted November 30, 2019 it's not really an issue for me personally, as you said, it's fairly straightforward to just rollback a driver, i figured i'd make a report regardless however, in case other people ran into the same problem or in case this issue doesn't get fixed in some reiteration from AMD and the wurm devs end up needing to do something about it. Eventually, it will get fixed one way or another I think. Just figured I'd bring it to the dev's attention.
Posted November 30, 2019 I've only had such issue once, unsure if it was from vga artifacts.. or client version had a glitch.. but I had a river/canyon in my yard similar to that odd slopes you see, there.. either restart or client update fixed it for me.. as said.. only seen similar bug once*

Posted November 30, 2019 updated my driver - no issues on my side, checked some slopes land and water sides.. no glitch here.. try ddu and reply if that remains? rx580 video here, tried to buff the settings.. cant see any issues, are you on low-er settings?http://prntscr.com/q49rjd
Posted November 30, 2019 I can't repro this on the same driver with a HD7870, must only be an issue on the newer cards. I'll try to source one to check it out, in the meantime rolling back your drivers should work.
Posted December 2, 2019 Having same type of issues. I bought a laptop with Ryzen 3200U and when I try to play with default graphics profile the game crashes right before loading at 100%. I've put all graphic settings down to low and games loads for few seconds with missing textures all over the place then get Windows BSOD. Tried without GLSL and same thing. Was using the video drivers that came with the laptop at first and I've upgraded to the newest AMD drivers which were released in November 2019 and same issue. Played Apex Legends with no issues to eliminate if issue was with laptop. Game works fine on my older laptop with Intel UHD 620 and desktop with Nvidia 2060. Wurm doesn't like AMD Ryzen/Radeon graphics I guess.
