So i'm being told the problem i am having is related to this glitch, i just created a large anvil (which i need) and am trying to heat it up in the forge so i can improve it, but no matter how long it sits in there it doesn't heat up AT ALL...

please fix...

 

*Update: so coincidently I discovered personal light sources today (i'm still pretty newb) and how this same glitch affects the lanterns...however i also discovered that this can be circumvented by 'lighting' the lantern so you can improve it xD

 

so i put some tar in the lantern and can improve it as if it had been heated in the forge, even temper it... so yippee...doesn't help me with my anvil problem tho...
