New HDR and AO Implementation Issues

All the colours on my bardings look completely wrong. They used to be black/red and black/blue, now they show up an ugly gray.
There is no option to turn off HDR. I turned off AO to see if it was that but it's not. Users report improve FPS with AO turned off by the way.

All PMK textures as well as landscape and trees are completely messed up the same way.

Probably something with the horses too.  The ebony and other dark parts of other horses look totally washed out for me.

Also notice when looking at the dreadnaught dynasty tent in my first screenshot that the gray skulls look all rasterized.

All the texture issues should be fixed now.

 

 

We're still looking at how it affected the barding colors and should have a solution for that soon.

Bulls look very shiny now here, like they're plastic wrapped. Cows look normal though.

Normally textures from adjacent tiles blend in (if you have your graphics settings high enough) but gravel isn't doing so anymore:

It looks like it's trying to blend gravel as if it were sand.

I feel like theres an eclipse going on, everything is tinted blue.

I'm getting the exact same view as Mrmorlanius with my PC setup.  The stone slab and cobblestone paved roads are an ugly blue, and on grass tiles what should be green grass background is instead a light gray bareness (at least when relatively close). We were discussing the issue on CA Help at about the same time and from there I suggested the player post the screenshot here in this thread.   This screen view coloring has been the case since the latest patch, so very likely related to HDR in some way.

 

(Note: this view is from AFTER the Halloween night 'fix' patch)

I can confirm the DD tent doesn't look rasterized anymore and that the barding colours are still having issues as you mentioned.

I think I found the culprit...

 

I had to revert to back to driver version 436.48 for my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 cards. I started getting DirectX 11 errors and games crashing for every driver version past 436.48. After I reverted, Wurm Online showed all the textures for bardings correctly again. It's some really weird issue with the new drivers it seems.

If you're running NVIDIA drivers, better see my latest post. I had major issues with every driver (tested individually by myself) past 436.48. Reproducable crashes. ArmA 3, Farming Simulator, you name it.
