Posted August 21, 2019 (edited) Because running two rx580 8gb gpus and an overclocked 8-core processor cannot get more then 50fps with shadows turned on (60 easily without).... yes, let's add more advance gpu demanding features... I know radeon sucks but I don't see it getting much better on nvidia in Wurm. Maybe if wurm wasn't java based, maybe? I think you know this though

I think you know this though I know and running crossfire rx580s I get about the same fps in minecraft, using optifine to run shader support with shadows on. again, I know radeon sucks but newer games I can run on max settings np... Java games seem to suck. Also, Wurm only ever seems to sit on 1 core... at least windows 10 shows it's only utilizing 1 core. Posted August 21, 2019 Shadows in wurm are still ......... Let's say it's a dumb decision to turn them on.. the performance drop is just not worth the 'heat'. Not really tracking who owns mc now.. but didn't microsoft buy that... it's probably one of the main reasons nvidia are experimenting.. with huge teams on both sides or at least decent amount of heads to "clash produce some sparks and rays or sunshine.. " #rtxExperiment #poc #haveFunWithSpareDevs #mediaAds #WooHooNot!Yahoo So.. yea.. pray/hope for libraries/drivers/etc making the implementation of rtx easier in close future for wurm, that's probably best 'action' you can take for now. RTX is going to be available specifically for Minecraft for Windows 10, which isn't Java, hence them calling the Java version "Minecraft: Java Edition". I'm not sure what it's written in, but it's a Universal Windows App.
