Posted August 4, 2019 [13:48:52] Cannot mix salty water with non-salty water. This error occurs when attempting to mix salty and non-salty water, which makes sense. It also occurs when trying to put any salty liquid into a container with a non-salty liquid, such as salted meat broth and olive oil. This makes it impossible to cook Herb Dumplings using stock / broth that has salt in it, as you cannot add salt to oils.
Posted August 4, 2019 You also cannot combine two stocks that were made differently (one with salt water, one with regular water). Very stupid overcomplication to the game if you ask me.
Posted August 5, 2019 The message shows up in the WU code I have decompiled, so this may be responsible, although I'm not sure why it's only happening to you now. In Item.moveToItem(): if (this.isSalted() != contained2.isSalted()) { if (mover != null) { mover.getCommunicator().sendNormalServerMessage("Cannot mix salty water with non-salty water."); } return false; } Probably easy enough for this check to also make sure the item templates are the same. Posted August 6, 2019 Confirmed as a bug. In the meantime you can activate the cauldron and right click the oil and select fill. A little more hassle but allows it to combine them [17:49:12] Cannot mix salty water with non-salty water. [17:49:19] You fill the cauldron with olive oil.
