Posted July 15, 2019 Mini-Tokens are a great little feature from Archaeology and we all love displaying them in various places around our deed. It would be awesome if we didn't need to go around and periodically repair them and eventually either replace or imp them. These are items that have only 1 use: To be a decoration. If that's the case, they shouldn't take damage when displayed as such.
Posted July 15, 2019 ouch they take decay??? I must check mine then, since I only put them down and then never checked for dmg ? Please fix so they dont take dmg, please
Posted July 15, 2019 They don't take much, but they do take damage. Even in a building, on deed.
Posted July 15, 2019 I'm probably imagining it, but they seem to take damage slightly faster when placed on another object, a table or shelf... The same happens with the statuettes from archaeology.
Posted July 15, 2019 Been ingame checking out mine....no dmg on them I have put mine right next to my token on ground.
Posted July 15, 2019 They shouldn't take damage when on the floor, but if you put them on top of something then they're technically inside a container and will take damage genius wurm mechanics at play

I mean... putting something on a table instead of a floor shouldn't make it take damage.
Posted July 15, 2019 Haven't tried .. but WHAT BETTER USE FOR THESE OTHER THAN.. GLOWRUNING THEM and making a pathway or just using them as LAMPS indoors? No decay could make them last..

One and only condition if i am not mistaken is that item doesn't form pile and that is on ground (well technically 2 conditions). It should be implemented much smarter to encourage people to use racks not punish them for it for example or not to fool people that item os safe placed on surface. So yeah real "genious" at play... Posted July 16, 2019 Remember back when we had those really sloppy orange/grey tokens? Then we switched to a more elegant light grey/marble green tokens. Was good.
Posted July 18, 2019 (edited) "Decorations" don't take damage.... as long as they're on the ground/floor. If they're in a container, including set on top of a table or fireplace or whatever, they will take damage. Same is true of all decorations, such as barrels/crates/amphorae in racks. I've had a suggestion thread related to this for a while. Edited July 18, 2019 by Ostentatio
