Getting kicked off hellhorse in shallow water

When taking corners into shallow water (can ride horse as well as drive sailboat/rowboat through) it'll occasionally kick me off and throw me 5+ tiles back, despite there being nothing that should do that, i can instantly reembark and ride hellhorse through just fine.
