Posted April 21, 2019 Hey, folks. Just a small tip here for new players who still do a lot of hunting for food early in the game. It's a little annoying having to chase the more docile critters around, like cows and sheep and chickens that tend to run away when we try to attack them. It's a lot quicker and easier if we select the critter from a few tiles away, then click the "Attack" button in the toolbar, and then approach the critter up close. Doing it this way we get our first strike on them before they have a chance to run away. Faster and easier kills. Just a minor tip.
Posted April 22, 2019 (edited) Something I found useful for fighting and new players can find useful too is to bind "target" to a key. I usually bind it to the space bar. In the console you would type "bind <key> target". If I remember correctly you can just put your cursor over the animal then press the key you bind target to instead of going to the toolbar. This is just something I found faster and easier to do for fighting. Edited April 22, 2019 by PumperNickel
