Stamina does not regenerate while leading a dominated mob

So our troll escaped today after bashing out of his cage. Since we live in an island, he ended up just hanging out in our farm. So I took my priest and dominated it. As I was walking back, I realized my stamina was not regenerating. I ran out of stamina on the way back to his cage, and nothing I did allowed me to regen.

 

I was able to confirm the following:

 

1) I had about 80-90% food and water.

2) I did not had climb on.

3) I was not on a mount.

4) I was on a flat road.

5) The troll was highlighted green.

6) I was not in combat.

 

Once I released the troll into his pen, I was able to regen as usual. After I dominated the troll, I backed out of combat (the dominate took but he kept fighting me). Once I was out of combat, he turned green with no issues. 

 

I think its worth looking into.
