Posted March 23, 2019 (edited) As a GM, I created a Deed and built an underground dungeon with some cave dwellings in it. Because it was on the deed, I was able to build the cave dwellings right next to the cave walls instead of having to be one tile away. My question is, what happens if I disband the settlement now? -Xil Edited March 23, 2019 by Xilanthus
Posted March 23, 2019 (edited) probably just accelerates decay rate, which means if you can keep the buildings repaired they should be ok? (Maybe you cannot repair though, I have not tested ...) Edited March 23, 2019 by Brash_Endeavors
Posted March 26, 2019 I set No Decay for each wall floor and ceiling and all placed items. So hopefully it will last indefinitely. We will see.
Posted March 28, 2019 the game only checks for if you can make something when you try to make it, so in this case can you plan next to a cave wall, only on deed, are you on deed, yes, ok you can plan it. After the plan is done it doesn't ever check anything for that planned tile again, so remove deed and the building won't be affected by the check for if on deed for planning next to wall. Yes there are many other things that happen for it being off deed, decay is 1.
