Posted March 20, 2019 Just a quick thought. When you pray somewhere it logs the location. The next time you pray, the further away you are from your last prayer position, the larger your tick (capped at a certain multiplier of course). With the aim of 1 hour of travelling and a pray has the same effect of an hour sat in front of an altar spamming. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted March 20, 2019 (edited) -1. Just wait until someone cries here, in your topic, about how they accidently crossed into chaos and got killed by a drake spirit while afk sailing. And then during the confusing 3 hour hike from spawn got lost and when they asked for help were murdered for their affinity. And on the third attempt at returning to their boat found it had been lockpicked and stolen. And were now stuck on chaos asking another soul to come pick them up. Posted March 20, 2019 maybe instead of distance based, accomodate the 5 "faith ticks" prayers to give a much larger tick in praying skill than usual. Gives a reason to get your daily 5 in also after hitting 100 faith. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It's the perfect opportunity to make the grind somewhat attractive as it provides a way to grind without being tethered to an altar forever, making it more like Meditation and Faith. Doing these 5 prayers at 100 faith should yield some bonus for sure, not just for the goal though, but also something little beyond that. The incentive shouldn't revolve around that goal at all even, but simply accomodate the grind required for achieving the goal. For example, high chances for receiving gems could be a thing, further influenced by the prayer skill. (prayer skill/X = chance to get a gem?). Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
