Posted February 18, 2019 Fantastic adamantine lump, 89.44QL 0.37kg. Want to hear opinions on its worth for a bit, then will sell to best offer.
Posted February 19, 2019 Sadly, I'm going to say that this thing is not at all useful; If there is any thing that can be made to successfully transfer rarity status from a lump, it eludes me. Thus either you accept the fact that you will have nearly a 1 in 300,000 chance to turn something fantastic when you use up the lump imping something, or put it on a table somewhere and hope it doesn't decay. Or keep it in a chest if you just like seeing something that's purple. TL;DR - No utility, pretty much decorative Estimated price in my opinion should fetch around 5 to 10 silver, any more is stupidity on buyer's part
Posted February 19, 2019 (edited) I agree in principle, but I'm not sure where you get 1 in 300k. Isn't it 1 in 100 to transfer rarity, and that the rarity level transferred is the same level as the lump? Edited February 19, 2019 by LaRue
Posted February 19, 2019 In my 2+ years of Wurm experience I have been able to transfer rarity from an item once.

That is not how it is calculated in code, AFAIK TBH even 1 in 100 chance is pretty bad for something you're going to pay 5s for.
Posted February 19, 2019 Sold a fantastic clay for 5s once. Meh, I've never managed to transfer rarity and I've used dozens of rare iron lumps on items.
