Posted January 26, 2019 We all know the deal; grind 100 faith and all magic is at your fingertips. By 50 channeling, most spells are pretty effective and enchant shatters are minimal. But what if higher levels of channeling opened up new uses for existing spells, some examples being: Casting morning fog as a helmet enchant at 70 channeling to make the wearer immune to beestings Casting strongwall at 60 channeling on statues to reduce their decay rate offdeed. Casting pillar of ice at on larders at 70 channeling to spawn snowballs in their iceboxes. Casting cleanse on a player at 80 channeling to remove disease etc Little uses for existing spells that unlock with higher levels of channeling (reflecting much more fine tuned control on the priest's part). Creation of mushrooms of random colors appearing on tiles around you from fungus trap. Improved description text on mole senses with higher channeling. Wild growth turns affected trees harvestable. This is far too useful to established players and adds actual functionality. You need to make it benefit and attract steam newbs and have more/fancier pixels if you want to get any dev traction.
