Planting lamps on submerged tiles

It would be helpful if one could plant and bless lamps on tiles partially submerged, or in shallow water. Rule should be that the lamp head must not be submerged, and planting/blessing only possible on tiles which can be reinforced or paved.

Buoys are great in deeper water. I find them bit strange in locations you can walk, ride, and drive. It simply does not look good. Granted they are a real progress to not being able to illuminate at all.

 

To add that: There are partially submerged tiles or those with very shallow water where buoys won't float and lamps cannot be planted.

Not very practical if you mining a tunnel.

An easier workaround is to plant them and then push them into the water.  It works but it's still an unnecessary and annoying pita, imo.  Especially if doing a lot of lamps.

Relying on cats-eyes as under-water lighting to navigate through our tunnel at the moment.

there is a trick i use,   try to use up your stamina, mining or digging ect.  then start the plant process,  run to where you want it hopfully not to far of a run.  i messed up a mine a while a go  and had to plant 10 lamps around so i could see.   been 3 yrs since i did this. so could be nurfed
