Posted October 11, 2009 I know I haven't been too active but if anyone was looking at buying a magazine, book, or CD help fund my school's prom by going to http://bit.ly/jrprom. As a small rural school with class sizes of about 20 students, we have to run a fundraiser every year so that we can have a prom. With few people in the community, it is usually hard to come up with the funding needed for a safe, accident-free prom, so I'm asking for your help in this. As a token of my appreciation, I am also giving you a free gift. You will get the item you would have ordered anyway in addition to a free gift. Not to mention you will be helping out my school too If you don't find anything of interest then tell your friends and have them tell their friends. Thanks for your consideration ;D
Posted October 11, 2009 If they were selling candy, large crates of uncooked Ramen, manga, Soviet paraphernalia, electricity generators, low grade Plutonium-239, or raw sugar cane I might consider buying something.
Posted October 11, 2009 can't a donation be made without buying anything?

Haha! I do have to agree that the items they pick for us to sell are not that great. Maybe one day I'll show them the ways of selling anything online can't a donation be made without buying anything? I'll have to look into this so it can be done online (PayPal donation possibly). This may be a better solution than selling stuff lol. I'll get back to you after I get in contact with my school. As hinted at in my reply to Redsyndicate, my school is a bit behind on what can be done online. So if I do allow a place for donations, would more people be interested?
