[Duplicate] Fine Fishing Rod upgrade issue

I upgraded my supreme fine fishing rod and it became a Fishing Pole instead of a Rod, doesn't seem like a fair exchange.

I also turned my rare fine fishing rod into a rare fishing pole.

 

Going to just leave it and fishing alone until I know if it's a bug or not.

I think this is expected behavior.

 

You now have to add the pole to your crafting window with 1 shaft and 3 eyelets, and it will create a rod of equal rarity.

The fishing rod appear to take the wood type of the shaft used, rather than that of the fishing pole.

 

Upgrading a old style fishing rod, with enchants, the enchants are transferred to the new fishing pole. BUT, they get lost if you use that fishing pole to make a rod ?

Well ruined mine as well

I just tryed to upgrade my fishing pole, to be able to fish, i had a Rare 96 ql willow fishing pole with a 96 coc cast, used a willow shaft on it and now i have a NON rare, NON casted 29.33 ql fishing rod.... go figure
