Posted November 25, 2018 This is a toxic system that just promotes verbal assault banter back and forth between kingdoms without any logic behind it. I honestly want to know why the developers of this game think this is a system that should be kept in this game? It's ridiculous! Instead of punishing players for using it maybe you should remove it. Posted November 25, 2018 probably the players that are the problem not the mechanic, it even warns you that using it falls under the rules it has been used for many years in many fun non-toxic ways
Posted November 25, 2018 Its one of those fun things that gets ruined by misuse. I'm all for punishing players who abuse it saying racist things if it means that normal people can have some fun. This is why we cant have nice things, because someone gets upset on behalf of someone else who should have known better.
Posted November 26, 2018 There should be a very easy way for any player to mute another, and the muted player should get a giant, unreal-type, ignored show up on their screen for 3 seconds, then flashing for 2 seconds. This way, the problem player gets the luxury of being informed their behavior is crap, and the player affected no longer has to deal with them. By very easy, I mean requiring practically no effort from the affected player. It should not involve having to type "/ignore... etc." It should be much quicker and less labor intensive. Right click the name requires squinting, clicking... PITA. Should be less of an imposition than that. The problem player is the problem, not the affected player. Affected player should not have to jump through hoops. Ideally, maybe you hover over the name and use a bindable command. Quick, easy... badabing badaboom. One second from affected player and smoothly back to playing. Maybe color the problem player's name when they appear in local (or an *) so you can easily tell they've been ignored.
