Hello Delians,

After spending some extra time at Rainbow Bridge, i've been bothered by the dirt mound on the north side of the bridge.

Since the new waystone systems allow buildings within highways and to keep our beloved Rainbow Bridge looking all neat and medieval looking, we have come up with a few solutions.

So far the favorites are the followings :

Option 1 - 2 marble bridges

Option 2 - 2 stone bridges instead of the marbles ones:

Do note that it is possible to pave over bridges, so a combo of stone and marble is possible in both cases.

Please vote for your favorite and comment on possible changes!

A Stone Bridge would fit the aesthetic of the surrounding buildings and blend in. Marble pavement would be good for light reflection. I love the gentle arch, and the use of the bridge as a second-storey accessway ( I use all my bridges in this manner ). Willing to help contribute towards bricks. Love this Bridge, I've crossed it many times.

The colours on those pictures are not the true colours, and with the rainbow lights on that bridge the marble with show them off much nicer.

The stone bridges seem to blend in better with the buildings (bottoms) as well as the cobblestone road pavements. Maybe also pave the stone bridge with slabs. I have a 1 tile wide stone bridge paved this way and like it a lot. Anyway, a very nice deed there for everyone to travel through so nice to see it is still attended to.

What do you think about making each building out of a different material make the village a lil display place?

I have that planed for the east side of the deed.  just behind the hostel.

One of the new players staying at Rainbow Bridge is looking forward to helping me build the first one.

? Looks great Dee. That last image is basically the way the bridge was originally intended but for some reason I could never get it to plan that close to water level. Stone with marble paving definitely the way to go as well!

RL has been just crazy recently, but I must try and log in sometime and have a look around for old times sake. So pleased to see RB being put to good use ?

So  glad to see you again too.     The final plan ended up a bit different than I had planed, but it still looks good. And our new villagers have helped me  make the creek a river  that my cog can now sail up and into  Lake of Tears.
