Open fireplaces bug (constantly "The fire is not lit")

Got 3 rare fireplaces

 

39.8 ql

40.4 ql

27.14 ql

 

First one, works normally, once it been lit, stays lit all the time.

 

Second and third were  light on and fueled just after finishing, and stayed lit for about one day.

On the next day both went off in the same time. If I try to light them on, they immidiately go off and stay like that on day and night.

Tried to light them on many times, and they still go off just after that.

Today:

- login on night in-game: all fireplaces are lit

- login o day in-game: first fireplace lit, second and third off

 

Looks like two fireplaces turn off on daytime and not always lit on nightime.

Third is fully operating.

We have a few issues open regarding fireplaces, but this also reminds me of another issue which I'd like to get more information on if you have a moment.

 

1.  Server

2.  Are all 3 on deed

3.  Have you tried loading and unloading all 3 to see if it makes a difference?

4.  Are these on a server that is having day/night light issues?

1. Epic, Desertion.

2. All 3 on deed, in the building.

3. Havn't tried loading/unloading. Just pushed a little to check if there is any difference. Gonna try to to load/unload later today.

4. Havn't played much last few days, so do not know if there are any issues on Desertion.

Checked the situation and currently, on daytime, all 3 are off...

 

Tried loading -> unloading and nothing changed. Fireplaces go off just a second after light on.

The way they currently should work is the same as with lamps.  If on deed, fuel and light them once and they should go on and off depending on the time of day (similar to on deed lamps).  This is how they are coded.

 

I was curious as to why you had 2 that did one thing and a 3rd that did something else.

 

All 3 should go on at night and off during daylight if on deed.  If this is not happening, let me know.  Trying to light one during the day and have it stay lit will not work and trying to snuff it at night will also not work.

Will be monitoring situation, but so far:

 - 1 operated constantly at day and night

-  2 were off at day and night

- when trying to light hem, they go off so fast, that fuelling so quick is very hard, but even when I managed to do this, they went off anyway.

 

On my old deed I got fireplaces (3 or 4) that was also constantly on at days and night, that's why I thought that this is their normal behaviour.

 

Latest news, got night at Wurm and all 3 are on.

had mine bugged, normal random one.. just old possession of mine.. was bugged and never lighting up.. eventually called a GM.. after lighting it up 5-10 times.. and fueling it... eventually 'unbugged'

Try to light it up and to *fuel it REALLY REALLY REALLY FAST*
