Patch Notes 30/OCT/18

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

To celebrate Halloween twenty eighteen (hah, it rhymes!) We’ve added the cool witches hat and skull mask to loot drops from mobs! The witches hat can be found on any hunter-type creature, and the skull mask can be found on goblins and trolls. A list of hunter-type creatures can be found on the Wurmpedia. Last years Halloween items are still possible to be gained, just at a reduced rate compared to the modern ones.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed bug causing archaeology reports to be updated in the wrong order.
  • Champions can now gain faith titles.
  • New small deed tokens will no longer be clipped if too long.
  • Cache lumps will now have the correct material type.
  • Bugfix: Removed second rename option from archaeology reports.
  • Bugfix: Statue fragments should now identify as statues instead of containers.
  • Bugfix: You can no longer crush, pick seeds or plant processed vegetables.
  • Bugfix: Branded, cared for, geared, hitched, bred animals should no longer die for overcrowding on server startup.
  • Bugfix: Bury all with grave stones will now destroy all items on the corpse.
  • Bugfix: Wagoner container removed from mission item list.
  • Bugfix: More text and grammar fixes.
  • Bugfix: KOS players on pve servers are no longer considered enemies.

I'm still seeing two rename options on archaeology reports.

I still get statues from container fragments that have been obtained by investigation since this update.

Very good bugfix so many irreplaceable animals have been lost previously to the distress of their owners.

The ones I have in my inventory still say metal or alloy, but I hope at least new caches will have the right type?

I've also still got some. I can't recall if these were fresh cache fragments from after the patch but I'm sure I found a new one or two late last night.

Edit: Never mind, just did a log search, they were old cache frags.

I just dug up a cache 10 minutes ago, and one of the fragments was a "container" fragment. I identified it, and it's a "statue of drake fragment (1/127), metal".

Hmm, just dug up a new cache and got a lump fragment, metal.
