Tile based collision between enemy kingdom players

Make it so you block enemy kingdom players from entering a tile you are in. It would make fighting more tactical and make formations useful. Also enable you to use chokepoints effectively.

Would cause to many issues with the current desync we have.

bad enough you can't attack someone due to being offset by 10 tiles to begin with

I get the sentiment, but I just can't see exclusive tile occupation working in Wurm.

 

For the single-player, tile-based, first-person game Legend of Grimrock and successor(s), however, it works very nicely. Besides not being a MMO, the difference is that when you're on a tile, you're -always- in the tile center, no pixel jockeying.

 

You'd probably need to implement -that- first in Wurm, which would change the game completely.

I like the principle behind the idea but imo wurm tiles are to big, and not just for this. A higher limit or smaller tiles might be supportfull.
