[Fixed] no outline and can't select anything after update

After this last update, nothing has an outline and I cannot select anything.  I did verify both places in settings that "show outline" was selected, and they both were.  I have not made any changes to my client.  This has worked for years, there was an update involving outlines, then outlines no longer work for me.  I've rebooted several times.  I've tried using the default settings profile.  Nothing has worked.

I have the same problem with the low memory client.  The stable client does no allow me to stay in game.  Kicks me out after about 30 seconds.
