Human Mobs, Human Blood

It would be really really really really really really really really really really really really awesome to have some NPC human "mobs" wandering around out there, some aggressive, some not, in PVE. Bring to life the drifters, hobbits, loonies, highway robbers, and all the rest!!!!!   :)   Fighting something other than creatures in the PVE world would be excellent spice, imho.

 

PS Retro: please also populate more wild deer, preferably somewhere near my deed hahahaha

PvP might benefit players dropping Blood on death.  That blood, same as unique blood, can be used to craft a potion for imbueing.

 

As it'd naturally be more common, effects need to either be small or have a much higher difficulty so many potions would be needed for high imbue power.  Also, as usual, dropped by prem only.  I'll leave it to others to figure out what imbue effect it could have.

The smell of blood has driven these two into a frenzy, few will be able to escape their carnage.

 

+1 we do need some new mobs, i've been beating up trolls for far too long

Why not have it on pvp also. A few years back when i played WU on pvp servers. I was always like, is that a person or a npc. Wait there's more of them, then the fun began. Because either way, if it was player or npc they had loot on them. :)  Adding blood would just be a bonus. 😀

not sure id like random npcs just milling about in the middle of no-where. If im trekking through total wilderness and then theres a guy just kinda standing there - itd be weird.

 

If bandit npcs would spawn in small groups around a little campfire and a few tents and the npcs did roam too far from the camp then yea thatd be cool but might not really be possible.

we already have lairs and the guard towers spawn human npcs so in what way could the 2 not be combined to have human npc spawning lairs?

-1 to human blood in WO.  Sounds more like a WU specialty server type of thing but...

 

+1 to human marauders, particularly if they decimate wagoneers and any future alt passenger buses.

+2 if they also destroy highways.

+3 if there is also a deed option to allow bands of npc thieves to attack your deed while you're online.  Completely optional, only when online, none of this "wait til they're offline to raid" bs.

Organized NPC groups (camps) that attack strangers (or enemy kingdoms on PvP) that spawn randomly like animal lairs with varying fight skill and QL gear no greater than 60 (70?) QL would be nice. The loot wouldn't devastate the economy if it was kept <60 or <70 QL armor/weapons, but some stuff like goblin,troll, human NPC civilizations and the like would be nice.

 

Ones that attack villages on PvP would also be neat. Something that only attacks if players are in local, but attack stops when every NPC has respawned at their camp 5x, up to 10 NPCs, that bash like uniques or trolls on a path toward a village token. Something like that :)

We could pick their pockets too for various loots and even find clues which lead to shiny things, maybe..

The deed raiding might be a bit too advanced (or is it?) to start out, but it would be nice to have "camps" of NPCs like temporary deeds, that if you attack any of the NPCs (assuming they are not naturally aggressive when you come too close), they all swarm you like guards/tower guards. Having real gear in the 40-70ql range would be really neat. But yeah, a more limited functionality like how rifts come and go would be nice, but with the look of a civilization (think goblin village) or orc village for underground, etc.

 

At the center could be a loot chest, with some unique bloods or something not too game-breaking. Some nice gems?
