Game won't load up

Anyone else crippled by lag tonight?? ONly to log out / restart computer/ and then cant get the client to fully load back up again? I hope I'm not the only one - cant play tonight cuz the game freezes and wont load fully :( 

Even having big delays  - trouble getting my browser to load this forum?? Whats going on? Checked my internet connection and it was very strong/fast. Makes no sense.

 

Please HELP

quite a few people with the same issue, ive been logging into just water all day, as well as forums barely working for me

Same here for the past 2 hours. I ran scans, cleared  Java, cleared cache. Still seeing water. When I manage to get it loaded, I can't move, the right click menu takes forever to load, and I'm just standing in one spot.

 

Also finding the forums loading very slow, if at all, tonight. It's the only tab I have open currently.

same, all i see is flat dirt floor under water line and sky, no terrain no move, no ability to respond in chat, have not health bar or buffs etc.  something has gone boom and in constant refresh despite LO time logout etc

Nothing wrong with login server, looks like a problem with the hosts end, I had it yesterday, hopefully it clears up soon

And another evening of staring at water....

 

Anyone looking into this?  Are we supposed to just hope this goes away?

having problem logging into server again, getting just water no landscape.  this has been happening from time to time in recent month and only wurm.  no other website.  did trace route here is findings, appears a hetzner problem not sure what you can or can't control here.  I've deleted ip info on top  hops for privacy yet show once past comcast.  you can see the timing out at hetzner.   I report this to be helpful but also to state this is NOT a one off, but happens on some basis over the last few months only.

Think it isn't a Wurm related issue. Probably something going on between Telia and Hetzner.

Having the same issue as Blood and Xallo.  When I can log on I get almost constant refreshing.

another trace route done and connection is dropping off at hetzner.   This is happening more and more over the past few months  and i post about it.  I do realize it's your provider yet as it ultimately affects your game and revenue stream when a player can't log in, when can you ask something more of your provider to fix it?  I Love the game, play long time, i know it's not CC's direct fault but when it is a known thing and keeps happening, is there anything more you can give us in assurances of fixing

Made an Account Just to post that I have been having the same issue for going on over 4-5 hours. Just as some of the prior posters had noted, the game got progressively more lag until it forced me to reload, as bad pop-in and failure to display items were prevalent. Upon attempting to re-log there is nothing but blue water everywhere. Even chat fails to load.

 

Tracert shows Hetzner is the issue. I've tested this on both comcast and using 4g hotspot through Tmobile to the same effect.

VPN through Tmobile curiously works. No issues.

 

I am just posting this because perhaps this is both a Hetzner and Comcast (Geographically Limited?) issue.
