Archaeology measuring jugs

Recommended Posts

I recently made a measuring jug from archaeology fragments.

When I examined it, it said it was set to 80g.

80g is not a setting that measuring jugs usually have. To measure 80g of a liquid you'd have to measure out a 50g, a 20g and a 10g and combine them.

However, when I filled it with water, it took a full 10kg, so the examine message was wrong.

I don't know whether the bug is in the description or in the actual setting, but it occurred to me that a measuring jug with a unique setting would reduce the number of actions required for certain recipes, which would give this type of archaeological loot type some value.

Would be cool if it was implemented (or fixed, if that was the intention all along).

So do it the old school way.  Set your jug to 1kg, put a lemon or something in it and the capacity becomes less than 1 kg of water.

I just created 4 new measuring jugs by clay (not fragments) and [00:04:13] You check the wheel on the bottom and it indicates the volume is set to 80g.
