Posted July 22, 2018 Not sure how to explain this , but on my laptop I play in windowed mode. when the game starts it has my char name at the top with a bunch of numbers and letters. I assume that's just the game and build. Now that spot is the top window and it turns white like im clicking on another window that's over/under it. I have already updated my laptop and windows, and did a full scan on startup. laptop spec's https://www.amazon.com/G751JT-17-Inch-Gaming-Laptop-model/dp/B00ZUPO7A4 I was playing just fine before, then logged in and this is happening over and over. I tried other types of window modes, and its the same issue. Im pretty sure my laptop can handle Wurm. Posted July 23, 2018 (edited) See this STEAM fix (post#eight) , many people said it works but it involves a Registry edit: "White border around the screen" https://steamcommunity.com/app/304240/discussions/0/622955136051683210/ Happens with a wide variety of games, does not happen the first time the game is run only on succeeding times: "In such cases, when the app quits, Windows detects that the app or game has a problem with full screen mode, and applies the DXMAXIMIZEDWINDOWEDMODE compatibility mode that allows the app or game to run in a maximized windowed mode instead of a full screen mode" Edited July 23, 2018 by Brash_Endeavors Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
