drunkness bugged

once you get super drunk to 'barely walking' or w/e it was.. and drunkness status fades.. you're now BUGGED.. and cant move normally anymore

only fix - logoff for /lotime

I can confirm this happening when I was getting the alcohol-related titles a couple years ago. Relogging was an instant fix no matter how drunk you were at the time, and it was otherwise permanent.

 

In code terms, the reason for this seems to be that the function setDrunkMod() is called when your alcohol increases at the "trouble walking" level, but is never again called to remove the modifier. However, the drunk walking modifier status also isn't saved or loaded from the database in any way, so relogging clears it.

 

In theory, if you had some kind of hypothetical extremely powerful alcohol, strong enough to skip the "trouble walking" phase and move right into "setting some kind of record", you might be able to avoid the slow walking entirely!
