Posted July 17, 2018 (edited) I may be wrong but my guess is the code has something like Kill _____ (number) ________s So any subject that cannot be made plural by the simple addition of "s" will come out wrong Sheeps Bisons Wolfs Calfs Deers Octopuss Maybe they have a code that catches words where you don't pluralize with an "S", but I would be surprised. Otherwise they need to rewrite something that looks for problem words and replaces them. They probably consider a fix to be more trouble than the benefit it gives, since it might be a long long time until Scorpius pop up again as a mission target.
